Ad Mediation Metrics for User Acquisition
The Tenjin dashboard offers comprehensive support for Ad Mediation Revenue Metrics. These metrics provide deep insights into the effectiveness of your advertising efforts for apps utilizing Ad Monetization.
Ad Mediation Revenue utilizes user-level or impression-level data fetched from an ad mediation provider via the Tenjin SDK. This data can be also used to optimize advertising campaigns on the ad network side by using Ad revenue callbacks.
How to get access to Ad Mediation Metrics?
In order to get access to Ad Mediation Revenue Metrics on the Tenjin dashboard, you will need to complete the following two steps:
- Integrate the Tenjin SDK version that supports Ad Mediation Revenue Metrics, which will be provided to you upon purchasing any of our all-inclusive plans, or the Ad Mediation Revenue Metrics / Ad Revenue Callbacks add-on.
- Opt-in to the new reporting system mentioned here.
What metrics will I have access to?
Currently, you can access the following Ad Mediation Revenue metrics with this feature:

Why should I use Ad Revenue Callbacks?
You can start running return on ad spend (ROAS) campaigns by sending your impression-level revenue data (ILRD) to the ad networks of your choice. Tenjin collects this data after receiving it from your mediation providers via the Tenjin SDK.
Once you have integrated impression-level revenue data (ILRD) via the Tenjin SDK (make sure you have the version of the SDK that allows us to process this data), you will be able to start running ROAS campaigns by following the steps listed in our documentation, depending on the ad network. The callbacks can be set up for different ad networks (listed below).
Here is an example of what the process for sending ad revenue data to Unity Ads looks like.
Which ad networks can I send ad revenue data to with Tenjin?
This data can then be forwarded to the following ad networks:
- Aura from Unity
- Moloco Ads
What happens if the ad network I am interested in sending ad revenue data to is not listed above?
We can help you send this data to the ad network of your choice. Please write to us directly at email@example.com for more information.
How have Ad Revenue Callbacks helped users in the past?
Here is a case study about how YOMI Studio increased their ARPDAU by 60% by using this feature.
Which mediation providers does Tenjin currently fetch impression-level revenue data (ILRD) from?
Currently, we are able to process this data from the following mediation providers:
- Unity LevelPlay
Why is the ROAS on Tenjin different from what I see on my Mediation platform or Adnetwork?
This difference is expected as currently Tenjin uses session-based allocation of LTV to calculate ROAS and not the impression-level ad revenue you are sending via SDK. We are currently working on making impression-level ad revenue ROAS available on the dashboard. You can read more about it here
Please note that Tenjin does not collect mediation ad revenue data by default. You need to update the Tenjin SDK to a version that allows us to process the impression-level revenue data. Since this is an add-on feature depending on your Tenjin plan, please contact your Tenjin Account Executive directly, or write to firstname.lastname@example.org for the SDK documentation.
