How to set up TikTok campaigns
If you don't see the option to add the tracking URL in your Tiktok dashboard (as mentioned in step 5), you will still be able to proceed with the tracking on their SAN module. For any questions, please reach out to us at support@tenjin.com.
Make sure you have added your TikTok account in the channels tab. If you haven't set it up yet, please follow the instructions here.
Go to the campaigns tab, select your TikTok account and create a campaign. You will see the impression and click URLs for TikTok.
Next, Go to the Apps tab, and click +NEW CALLBACK.
Setup both "Tiktok install (All networks)" and "Tiktok SAN install". (Optional: You can also create the TikTok SAN Post Install callback to improve your campaign optimizations)
If you have multiple TikTok App IDs, you can enter them comma separated as shown below.
In your TikTok Ads Manager, go to Assets -> Events -> App Events -> Manage, and select your app. After you select "Tenjin" from the list of mobile measurement partners, enter the click and impression URLs generated in step 2.
Note: For iOS, please except higher discrepancy between reported installs and tracked installs due to SKAdnetwork and lower Tiktok Opt-in rate
