How to set up TikTok Campaigns in Tenjin
We've upgraded our Self-Attributing Network (SAN) integration with TikTok. You can add tracking URLs in the SAN module tracking setting. For apps on SAN module but have not added tracking URLs yet, please follow the instruction below to do so. For any questions, please reach out to us at support@tenjin.com.
Make sure you have added your TikTok account in the channels tab. If you haven't set it up yet, please follow the instructions here.
Go to the campaigns tab, select your TikTok account and create a campaign. You will see the impression and click URLs for TikTok.
Next, Go to the Apps tab, and click Callbacks tab.
Select TikTok in the Channels and Partners drop-down. Enter TikTok App ID and click Save. If you have multiple TikTok App IDs, you can enter them comma separated as shown below.
Toggle on Tiktok Install callback.
- For Ad Revenue events, toggle on TikTok Ad Revenue callback.
- For IAP events, toggle on TikTok Purchase callback.
- For other types of events, click ADD EVENTS and setup a custom event.
Find App Events in Events Manager (Tools --> Management --> Events).
For new app creation on TikTok Ad Manager, click Create New App, put in Download URL in Step 1, in Step 2 select “Tenjin” under Connect to a mobile measurement partner. Copy the Click and Impression Tracking URLs from Tenjin Dashboard (in Step 2) to the Tracking Settings and click Confirm.
Note: For iOS, please except higher discrepancy between reported installs and tracked installs due to SKAdnetwork and lower Tiktok Opt-in rate. Please find the detailed differences between Tenjin and TikTok Attribution here
