Tenjin Pricing Plans

  • Tenjin's pricing is based on the event count model. An event is counted any time an app logs something to our servers. By default, this happens on app-open. Other examples of events that count towards your chargeable event count include custom events like in-app purchase, tutorial completes or registrations. Integrating these events with Tenjin is optional, however, we recommend tracking them if you want to understand the holistic value of your users post-install.

  • Your chrageable monthly event count is the sum of all events in your Tenjin account (excludes ad-network clicks & impressions), and this number resets on the first day of every month. You can view the projected event count for your account on the dashboard here.

If you are new to Tenjin and not sure what your event count might be, the easiest way to estimate it is using DAU and average daily session count per user. For example, if the total DAU for your app is 10,000 and average daily session count per user is 3, your monthly event count will be 10,000 x 3 x 30(days) = 900,000. Please note that this calcuation assumes you send only app open events. Other types of events you plan on tracking with Tenjin should be added seperately. Our pricing tiers are described here and there's a tool that estimates the event count based on app opens. Try it out and let us know if you have any questions.
